Puna's Apple(s) Pie

I have one of the best neighbor in the world.  Here and her girls went apple picking.  They graciously decided to bring me cider and a bushel of apples.  Today, where I live is a windy, cold and rainy day.  That make it a Great day to bake.
Using what was in my kitchen, this is one of the dishes I came up with.  I hope you enjoy it.  ( With a nice scoop of ice cream of course).

5     Large  Apples peeled, cored and          cubed

1        Pie Crust

1tsp   Vanilla extract

1/2     stick melted butter

1 tsp   Nutmeg

1 tsp   Cinnamon

1/2 C   Sugar or sweetener of your choice

Crumble Topping

1/2 C   Dry cake mix

1/2 C   Brown sugar or regular sugar

1/2 Stick   butter( room temperature )

Let's make a pie

Crumb topping first in medium bowl add all ingredients.  With fork mix together  all ingredients until you have a sand like consistency.  Set-aside.

*Set oven to bake at 350°F

Let's get pie filling ready.
In a Large bowl add your apples (already cored and cubed).  Add your seasoning sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Toss to mix well. Add melted butter. Gently toss again.
Add Apple mixture in pie crust.  Top with Crumble mixture.  Bake at 350°F for 40 min., or until apples are tender.
